Can u create HIV/AIDS with a clean couple?

Ok so if a couple has unprotected does that mean that theyll end up gettin/creating it? what if that one of them has unprotected with another person (cheatin) but who is also clean, does that mean theyll get it? or is it only with people who already have it kuz they've been havin with alot of people? how much is 2 many partners?
