Question for everyone: why are lawyers allowed to manipulate the truth and sometimes?

Hah its not really like that. Lawyers and prosecutors have to be really smart and keen. The smallest slip of words can backfire on them. It works both ways. It may be unfair 1% of the time, but truth be told would you rather it be Congo where they shoot you on the spot?
