depressing.. yes... I think its very emotional and that it is good for you to write about it, if this is the way you feel. However, the poem could use work. I don't really like the "Think" lines. It does have some good imagery. But, if this poem is for yourself, then its all good because its all about how you like it.

Okay, so I'm a junior and I just recently got my PSAT scores back. I'm a little bit disappointed...I don't think I did too swell. I got a 54 in critical reading, a 52 in Mathematics, and a 57 on writing. My selection index is 163 and my percentile is 74. I'm pretty smart I would say but I don't think these scores are reflecting that. I've taken IQ tests (which I know isn't saying much) and score around 150. When I get ready to apply for colleges and they see a score similar to this on the SAT but they see my GPA is above a 4.0 and that's with all college level courses, will they still accept me? I'm not planning on going anywhere fancy like Harvard or Cornell, just a state college. After taking the PSAT by how much are you expected to improve when it comes time to take the SAT? How do i stop my cannibalistic carp?

i have a ghost koi asagi carp. (asagi meaning erfly) it is abut 8-10 inchs long. it eats EVERYTHING i add into the tank. it even attacks things twice its size. Even a frog that could have ate it. it kept trying to eat its foot and eventually the frog died. so far, iv tried adding golden orfe, other carp, goldfish, minnows, plecos, shrimp, fiddler , freshwater crayfish, yabbies (electric blue lobsters), small sturgeon, eels, rudd, roach, perch (yes, perch! even the spines didnt stop it.) and many other fish. what do i do with it? its living in a 5 foot tank by its self as it is eating everything. so far there is only two fish other than itself, that i dont cl as fish. (they are two hillstream loaches that are about half an inch long that sit sucked onto the filter or under stones/ pvc pipe ect. I didnt know that carp were cannibals. i think i may just throw this thing into a pond to get rid of it.

Adopted dog is terrified to even see a leash!?

My husband and I adopted a dog that had been badly abused several months ago. It took a while but she learned to trust and love us. She loves snuggling and sitting on our laps to be pet. The problem is, she is terrified of leashes. If she even sees a leash she rolls over onto her back and urinates out of fear! Ive read you can leash train a dog by starting slowly, clipping the leash on and just letting her drag it around but we cant even get that far. Shes too afraid of the leash for us to even put it on. Unfortunately, she is also scared of being carried and if you lift her up she will pee all over you out of fear. This makes leaving our property with her almost impossible. We have a fenced yard that she is comfortable in but we run into trouble when we need to take her some place (like the vet) and we cant take her for walks or to the park or anything. This is very sad to me. Any ideas of where to even start?

Filter troubles please help?

i have a tetra 20 gallon regular starting kit. it has been running for about a year now. usually when i do a water change, the filter cleans the water well enough and it is clear within a day or even a few hours. I recently did a water change, (2 days ago), and the filter seems to be performing less and less effectively. i cannot even see the back of the tank and it is barely 12 inches deep. what do u recomend i do? i saw on foster and smith aquatics that there is a hang on back canister style filter. i would like to get this as it polishes the water apparently pretty well, but is it good? i want a canister filter but would rather not go through the troubles of setting one up and the cost of the filter. i could do a canister but if you have a great filter that works (and fits) with this tank please tell me.

How should I spend my paintball budget (knowledgable answers only please)?

Ok, so I have around 300-350 dollars to spend on paintball markers right now. I want to buy a pump marker (more primary) and a semi-auto electro or a decent mechanical (more secondary, maby an autoer?). The things I'm considering for the pump are the phantom, a trilogy er with pump (but I hate the center mounted feed neck, so i would have to buy an elbow and a raised sight), or a kaos pump (but the farting noise is kinda stupid lol). For the other semi, I was thinking a lower end er, a higher end spyder (there are tons used in really good condition for cheap), a azodin blitz. Should i stay or should i go?

My boyfriend is a real sweetheart. He holds the door for me, pulls out my chairs, and we talk for hours.There is just two problems. One is that he is a major slacker. gas is a normal occurrence. some ppl are more flatulent than others. what is going on is while u were sleeping your bowels were digesting what you ate all day prior, especially if u ate late at night. well, when your body awakens and starts to move around it pushes on the bowels pushing the gas around the squiggles of the intestinal tract. and out it comes. just like most ppl take a bowel movement first thing in the AM your body is ridding itself of toxins that were left over from whatever you ate the day before. example: red meat takes up to 7 days to digest and release from the body, by then it is pure rotted flesh and gas. so if you are a big meat eater cut down on it and you wont fart as much ;) beans can make you fart too, so can nearly every other substance. but red meat has been found to be toxic to the body. and have u ever smelled a dead rotten animal? it's pretty disgusting. that's what is in your intestines waiting to come out for up to 7 days. it's no wonder major meat eaters have the most noxious farts on earth.

It says Johnny Depp has German and Irish ancestry which is also white however he also has some Native American (Cherokee) blood in him. Cristiano Ronaldo is Portuguese so he's white. The only reason he's got a bit of a tan is because he's from a Portuguese island called Madeira and the weather is really hot there. Have the storylines on AMC/OLTL been bad for a reason?

Several years ago, with regard to AMC, I put out the opinion that the writers were deliberately trying to ruin the show so it could be canceled. Everyone told me I was paranoid, but I could not for the life of me understand why TPTB would keep writers like Megan McTavish and Charles Pratt on board when all they were getting was complaints about stupid storylines, plot exaggerations and character ruin. In view of the recently announced cancellations, I don't think I was wrong. I think it was an intention plot by Brian Frons (who BTW ured the viewers that AMC & OLTL were not going anywhere) to bring the ratings down so he could put some low-rent garbage on - like The Chew. Who the heck wants to watch something called The Chew? The Food Network would probably kick it to the curb for the name alone. I don't think TPTB necessarily Knew that soaps would end someday (although it's always possible), but I will go to my grave believing that Frons was directly responsible for the demise of a show that had 40+ year loyalty from viewers in favor of shows that probably won't last more than 6 months to a year.

I am so sick of making bad grades help?!?

I hate my academic life. I take 4 AP cles, and its right before midterms now and I'll probably have a C in three of them and a B in the other. I had a lady that wanted to come interview with me about keeping her 3 year old little girl. The child sweet though she was kept crawling up on furniture and the mom would not correct her. I was trying to talk to the lady. We were on my couch and the lady was closest to the little girl. The child crawled up on the chair which has rollers on it. she stood up in the chair and was leaning over the desk. I did not see this at first because my view was blocked by her mother sitting next to me. All of a sudden the lady jumped up and walked toward her daughter and told her she could not stand up in the chair. I think it startled the child. She suddenly flipped around and fell backwards and hit her head on the desk. It caused a knot on the back of her head and a small cut. Not enough for stitches. The woman was upset and of course i do not blame her. We babied the child and I doctored on her. The woman wanted to know if I thought she should be taken to the emergency room. I told her she always could to be safe but I thought she would be okay. i was a nurse. The woman said she was going to take her to one of those Kenmed places. She left and called me and said the one she went to was closed did I know of another. I told her of one I knew was open. Then she told me they were going home first to have lunch!!! I emailed the lady twice yesterday to see about her daughter. She will not answer me back. Of course I think I did not get the job. I do not allow children up on furniture like that, but the woman let her and the child fell. I had not been hired yet. Okay sorry that was long but I needed to explain the situation. I know that the army are good as you can study for university while in your service, I'm not sure how to do it or anything, but I know they will just help you (I'm not sure you even have to sign up as a medic for that) *but* you will have to do the minimum service (respectively) . Speak to an army careers advisor, that would be my best best.

Possibly ringworm?

I have what looks like ringworm on the lower leg, about half way down and on the side of the leg. its about the size of a quarter and is red and itchy, and it weeps if i scratch it. i have fairly dry skin, and this rash/ringworm thing comes back every year at the start of winter (so around may (i live in the southern hemisphere, so its winter now)) and lasts for a few months. i am seeing a doctor about it tomorrow, but ive gotten in every year for about 5 years now. First of all, the p defense is not below average. Given that teams were forced to p more because of a stingy #1 run defense, i'd say their #12 p defense was pretty good. I got my acer aspire from Harvey Norman back in October, when I first got it, it was very fast and ran so smoothly, I would open it up it would turn on in literally 2 seconds and I could open the internet browser up straight away and dash straight into browsing or whatever work I was doing. Now it takes ages for Windows to open up, and it keeps loading, and it's a good 15 minutes before everything starts running smoothly, even typing this question is painstakingly slow, I'm typing on the keyboard and there is a delay before the letters show up on screen?
